We often don’t think about how hard delivery drivers work this time of year. Last year I saw a friend post about how she left a basket of goodies for their delivery drivers, so I decided to do the same. The treats would disappear (maybe the neighborhood kids?) every day we would get packages and it was not until late summer did one of them stop my husband while he was watering the front lawn to tell him how much he appreciated the small and kind gesture.
So now it’s your turn (if you desire) I encourage you to make a small basket of goodies (sodas, water, chips, nuts, gum) and leave it on your front doorstep or where ever they drop off your packages.
Like this! So simple!
I include a small sign to go with it! Feel free to print it here! Be sure to use your text tool to add in your last name after the “love” portion before printing it (or just handwrite it in!) 😀
I hope your holidays bring you joy and remember, the true essence of Christmas is surrounding yourself with gratitude, grace, love, kindness, and a joyful and giving spirit.
